Allison graduated from Columbia University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She began her career as an undergraduate student in Dr. Kenneth Olive’s Lab, which focused on stromal cell populations driving treatment resistance and immunosuppression in pancreatic cancer. Allison initially joined the Davis lab in summer 2023 working with Angela Olvera, PhD. She now works full time in the lab as a Research Intern while applying to medical scientist training programs. Her work in the Davis Lab includes developing computational tools for quantitative image analysis and analyzing single-cell RNA sequencing data to better understand the role of GLP-1 receptor signaling in islet biology and diabetes. Outside of lab, she enjoys gardening, swimming, and spending time with her cats.
