Dr. Mulcahy is a Postdoctoral Scientist interested in early life predictors of future diabetes risk and beta-cell health. Her current projects focus on adolescent GLP-1 medication use for type 2 diabetes management, the impact of pre-pregnancy weight loss methods on maternal and offspring glycemia, and intra-islet cholecystokinin signaling during metabolic stress. She completed her Masters, Doctoral, and Dietetic training at the University of Michigan School of Public health. Outside of research, Molly enjoys cooking new recipes and sewing or knitting.
